The world’s full of lost things
Of the boy and girl’s innocence lost
Losing has become normal
As normal as the world’s lost.

People don’t mind losing their tempers
Of raging fist fights and patience lost
Losing has become normal
As normal as the world’s lost.

Men are losing their souls
Satan’s having a beastly feast
There is madness in the world
‘Tis a lost lot.

The world’s a froth of sin
But there is one hope found in Jesus
And our Saviour won’t stop
Till all the lost are found.

Jesus has a quest in Luke 19:10
“To seek and to save that which was lost”
The sinner must not perish
The world’s lost and must be found.
