I have seen that only God appoints
And man will utterly disappoint
Trust no man! Make it a point
‘Tis only God who can beautifully anoint.

Yea, man the truth will distort
Killing your heart in all sorts
Then you to the grave will resort
Unless God’s grace from Heaven supports.

Isaiah 2:22 and Jeremiah 17:5 give a sure report
That cursed is the one who trusts in a man’s thoughts
For man is what God is not
As frail as breath, tomorrow he is lost.

A mere mortal, man is a deceitful plot
I say ‘trust only God’; what is your lot?
Why trust in man who sees so short?
Aye, trust only God; with only Him tie the knot.
